I am running a bowling tournament online. It is a fifty game marathon with a regular top five ladder to be rolled off after the 50 qualifying games.
The tournaments will be held beginning on the 15th of each month. Sign up now for the second tournament beginning January 15, 1998.
All games will be bowled on my own 100% impartial bowling software and the results will be posted on this page beginning on the 16th of each month. I have only four lanes in my computer bowling house so it will take the balance of each month to get all the games bowled but the ladder results should be available by the 29th of each month!
I award prizes as follows....
1st place-----Your name prominently displayed on the Hall of Bowling Records at this site for as long as the site exists! Also a cash stipend of 20 dollars--include your snail mail address when entering.
2nd place-----an E-mailed congratulations! Also a cash stipend of 10 dollars--include your snail mail address when entering.
3rd place-----Free entry in the following month's tournament. Also a cash stipend of 5 dollars--include your snail mail address when entering.
Entry is free---everyone is welcome.
To enter you must send me an E-mail advising me you wish to enter and include your name and e-mail address and the URL of your webpage if you want it listed here. Be sure to include your snail mail address so I can send you prize money should you finish 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in the tournament.
I will be posting the entrants daily as I receive them. Look for the tournament entrants at this site.
Then after the 15th check and see how you are doing in the tournament!
Maybe I should have been clearer...Joe Haaz showed up with his ball and shoes (he thought he had to bowl the fifty games and he wanted to practice!); this is a simulated bowling tournament---the entrants don't actually have to show up and bowl...Sheeesh!!!!
